5 Things: Recent Buys

I really should stop buying make-up, not only did I order stuff from Very's beauty section, I then went an hauled Superdrug, literally only went to buy concealer. I'm such a sucker.

But, Mehh..  It's done now and I don't really regret it.

I purchased the Barry M Contour Kit (£6.49) I have never actually contoured before so I took the plunge and gave it a try. What I like about this palette is, it gives you a step by step guide on what to do, so even if your'e crap at make-up you can use this. Nice one Barry!

I've put this too the test a few times, I feel like the contour powder could be slightly more pigmented, I'm starting to think maybe this palette isn't for the darker skin tones, but if you got a good brush you can build up the product to create your desired look.

I haven't worn a full coverage foundation all summer, so I thought i'd grab a new one. I was planning to go high end, I still am actually but in the mean time the Dream Matte Mousse (£7.69) will do the job perfectly. When you finish a foundation before you have to throw it away you know its a gooden. I love the way this foundation goes on, it gives me a even full even coverage and doesn't look cakey, plus has added SPF15 which is still needed even in the winter months ladies...

A constant repurchase is the Collection Concealer (£4.19), super cheap but really works on those dark circles and blemishes. I do love this. A cheapy but such a goodie.

Here are my first purchase from NYX Cosmetics, I don't know why I haven't tried this brand sooner, I've been in dire need of eyelash curlers for such a long time, I use these before I apply my mascara and it makes application so much easier and makes my lashes look fuller. NYX Eyelash Curler (£5.50)

I also bought the NYX matte setting spray (£8.00), matte is my thing for autumn/winter and not only does this keep your face in place but it creates and matte look, definitely one to try if you have oily skin, it may help balance it out.

So I plan not to buy any more make up until I really really need it or I go to John Lewis and buy that Bobbi Brown serum and under eye Concelear. Okay!

I'm going to be doing a first impressions review on these products and you can watch it on my youtube channel, so subscribe and keep and eye out.
