5 Apps you need to download now..

One of my favourite posts to read is what people are currently using on their phones.

I'm nosey like that, don't judge me.

There are tons of useful apps on the App Store that are so helpful and just waiting to be discovered.

Like 98% of people have iPhones right? Soz if you are the other 2%.. I'm sure there are android versions of these apps though..

Peak: The job I'm in currently isn't that stimulating, I'm a bit scared my brain will turn to mush soon if I'm not constantly putting it to good use. So peak is a brain training app, they supply you with challenges every day and give you an overall brain age. As you continue to use the program you'll definitely see improvements and you can measure your progress. The games are challenging and  fun and developed by scientists. Thank me laters.

Calm: Have trouble sleeping? Me too. When I do struggle to get to sleep at night there are loads of things you can do  including meditation. I'm not talking about sitting with your legs crossed and humming some weird noise. I'm talking about training your brain to relax and stop thinking so damn much and In turn put you in to a sweet slumber. I've used this app loads.. Works every time.

Sleep cycle: Once you do get off in to a lovely slumber why not track your sleep. Sleep cycle measures any movement during the night and is able to tell you when you wake up, in a light sleep and in a deep sleep.. It then wakes you up during your lightest sleep so you don't wake up all groggy and tired. It's great and doesn't make you want to throw your phone at the wall every morning.

Dojo: I really plan to use this app more, honestly it's legendary. You know them Friday nights you really want to go out but not sure where to go? Behold.. Dojo! This app tells you what's on in London & Paris (will be adding more cities soon) from speakeasies to pop ups, date night ideas and plenty more. You'll be left spoilt for choice.

Evernote: Basically my digital notebook. You can do almost everything on this app, create notes, annotate.. All sorts.

What are your favourite apps? Do share..

5 Ways I'm Bettering Myself This Year

2015 was the year of learning for me, I have really started to assess my own behaviour and my own actions. I have started to wholly hold my self accountable for the things I do and the decisions I make. This isn't an easy process when we as people are always quick to point the finger and blame someone else for the problems we have.

I have created 5 mantras for bettering myself and so far they have worked really well..

1: Stop being everyone else's critic and focus on me!
This is something I've always lived by, I never feel like it's my place to judge anyone. I feel like we need to start focusing on bettering ourselves instead of telling people how to live their lives. Who are we to judge? Right?

2: Make more time for fun
All I care about is sleep these days. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't apprehensive about not living my life to the full. So I'm focusing on experiencing things instead of worrying about getting up for work in the morning lol life's too short!

3: Take better care of me
In every aspect! I've started taking vitamins, eating better, moving more. I want to be healthy now and as I get older.

4: Stop trying to do everything for everyone
I'm always saying yes, offering favours, giving away my money, because I really want to try and help everyone. I got to start being a bit more selfish, everything needs balance.

5: Get out of my comfort zone
I'm such a creature of habit and I'm really annoyed at myself for being like that. I'm trying to do things I wouldn't normally do, try new things, step out of being comfortable. Meet new people, create new friends, network.. Just do things I don't usually like doing. Just because I feel like this is what I need to do to grow as a person.

I think self awareness is the key to growth and having better relationships.

What are you doing to better yourself this year?

Officially 25 - Barcelona Photo Diary

I officially turned 25 on the 15th January - I was supposed to schedule some posts but it was actually really nice to get away from all things social media (except Instagram) and just spend some serious quality time with the people I love most in the beautiful city of Barcelona!

This was my first time in the city and it was EPIC! We stayed at the Eurostar Cristal Hotel on La Ramblas which is like the Oxford street of Barcelona.

We visited the beach, hired some electric scooters, ate (LOADS) be sure to try Eyescream, Nuria Restaurant and Giovannis Ice Cream Parlour. They were my most memorable places over the weekend.

For nightlife Opium, BLVD and Catwalk got our parties started, they can be pricey on the door but ask at your hotel reception for more info as we were able to get free entry :)

We stopped off at the most beautiful mountain top bar called MARTINEZ! They served the most beautiful Calamari and Sangria and the views of the sea are something special. Don't worry if it gets a bit cold the staff provide you with blankets to keep you toasty,

We then took a cable car back over to the beach and watched the sunset, which was something I have never experienced in my life. SO BEAUTIFUL

Barcelona was so beautiful, me and the boy are already planning to return when it gets a bit warmer and maybe then i'll vlog or write a city guide. For now.. Enjoy the photos.

Have you ever been to Barcelona?
