5 Ways I'm Bettering Myself This Year

2015 was the year of learning for me, I have really started to assess my own behaviour and my own actions. I have started to wholly hold my self accountable for the things I do and the decisions I make. This isn't an easy process when we as people are always quick to point the finger and blame someone else for the problems we have.

I have created 5 mantras for bettering myself and so far they have worked really well..

1: Stop being everyone else's critic and focus on me!
This is something I've always lived by, I never feel like it's my place to judge anyone. I feel like we need to start focusing on bettering ourselves instead of telling people how to live their lives. Who are we to judge? Right? 

2: Make more time for fun
All I care about is sleep these days. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't apprehensive about not living my life to the full. So I'm focusing on experiencing things instead of worrying about getting up for work in the morning lol life's too short! 

3: Take better care of me
In every aspect! I've started taking vitamins, eating better, moving more. I want to be healthy now and as I get older. 

4: Stop trying to do everything for everyone 
I'm always saying yes, offering favours, giving away my money, because I really want to try and help everyone. I got to start being a bit more selfish, everything needs balance. 

5: Get out of my comfort zone
I'm such a creature of habit and I'm really annoyed at myself for being like that. I'm trying to do things I wouldn't normally do, try new things, step out of being comfortable. Meet new people, create new friends, network.. Just do things I don't usually like doing. Just because I feel like this is what I need to do to grow as a person. 

I think self awareness is the key to growth and having better relationships.
