The Ordinary: No Ordinary Skincare

A review of 'The Ordinary' skincare, available at ASOS

The Ordinary Skincare
Before I used these products I was adamant I was going to get Botox for the lines under my eyes. Fast forward a month and hey what lines?

If you didn't know 'The Ordinary' is a skincare brand under an umbrella brand DECIEM who focus on creating functional beauty products. All products are free from parabens, sulphates and all that other horrible stuff. They do not test on animals either which I why I love this brand even more. You can read more about all the brands under DECIEM at your leisure, here.

*This is not a sponsored post FYI*

I have been eyeing up these products for a long time on ASOS. They have been sitting in my saved list for ages. I was just apprehensive because I wasn't sure if it was what I really needed for my skin or what each product was designed to do. I decided to do some research, I watched a few You-tubers, read a few posts and finally decided to invest in a couple products.

The Ordinary Skincare

Here's what I picked up:

Alpha Arbutin 2% - This solutions evens out the skin tone and creates a brighter complexion. To be used with an SPF in the day time.

Caffeine Solution 5% - To be used underneath and around the eyes, reduced puffiness, lines and improves dark circles.

Natural Moisturising Factors + HA - To be used after serums to hydrate the skin.

I have been using these products day and night as part of my skincare routine for about a month now. The effects have been amazing for me. The lines and dark circles I had under my eyes from a lack of sleep have improved massively. Sometimes they completely disappear, of course water and diet also have a massive effect on your skin so you want to make sure you are making an effort all round before you judge whether these products are for you.

I had a lot of scarring from acne and that has cleared and is almost gone, in terms of hydration I haven't seen any dry spots like I used to, my skin feels firms and soft and overall looks healthier.

As soon as these products where delivered I knew I had made the right choice, the packaging, the description, the ingredients just screams to me that this company knows what they are talking about when it comes to skincare.

The Ordinary Skincare

ASOS have a range of products that you can pick up for every skin problem you might have. I will be grabbing the cold pressed Moroccan argon oil as well as the Hyalauronic acid 2%. I want my skin to be poppin' this summer.

If you have skin problems you just can't seem to shake I would say give The Ordinary Skincare a try, you have nothing to lose because unlike a lot of brands these are inexpensive products. The product price range is from £4 to approx' £10. It doesn't get much more expensive than that so if you were apprehensive like me i'm telling you, go for it. You won't regret it.

Have you tried anything from DECIEM before?
