A Foodies Heaven - Mango Tree, Harrods

Mango Tree, Harrods -  A Review

Mango tree at Harrods

I'm always on the hunt for amazing food and when I come across it I can't help but shout about it. I couldn't wait to write this post about Mango Tree, Harrods because I literally had the best food and the best time there last week, I just needed to tell you all about it.

Thai is one of my favourite cuisines but I have to admit, I struggle to find good quality Thai food I really love and want to shout about. I know Mango Tree is pretty popular already but for those of you who may not have had the pleasure of dining there, I really suggest you hop and scoot down to Harrods, explore the grand building and once you have worked up an appetite, fill the gap with some amazing Dim Sum or a flavoursome Ramen from Mango Tree.

Me and the Boyf went down to Harrods on a lovely Friday evening... Actually, it wasn't lovely at all it was pouring with rain but once you step inside of Harrods it's like a whole different world. This is the first time I have been to Harrods if you couldn't already tell. The building is just something else, I had to ask for directions to the food hall otherwise I would have definitely got lost.

Once I did find the food halls, Mango Tree was waiting for me. I expected a fully fledged seated restaurant but it was nothing like that and I wasn't disappointed. This amazing Thai restaurant is situated in a semi-circle with kitchens and staff in the middle and seating around the outside. It's nice and intimate, but there is still enough space to have an absolute feast! (Like we did)

We ordered some Dim Sum which you could call our starters. The Scallop and Prawn Dim Sum IS EVERYTHING! We had a few other dishes too but this and the Prawn spring rolls really stood out to me. I also decided to have the beautiful Chicken Ramen and Le Boyf had some deep fried prawns and boiled rice.

It is safe to say our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs.

Service was immaculate, the staff were lovely and so helpful and I'm not just saying that because of the complimentary champagne. The food came out fast, was fresh, hot and SO SO SO GOOD!

It says on the website 'The team at Mango Tree is committed to offering customers a wonderful dining experience with a taste of warm Thai hospitality' and I honestly couldn't agree more. That is exactly what we got and It really made the difference.

I honestly have no complaints about Mango Tree, and I have never heard anyone say a bad word about it either. It can be considered on the pricier end for a dinner but I would say it is absolutely worth every penny.

I can not wait to go back and bring all my sisters along with me!

Have you tried Mango Tree? What are your thoughts?
