April Goals

It has been a while since I sat down and really thought about what I wanted to achieve in the month ahead. I set goals for the year and have achieved some major ones already but I definitely need to remind myself to bring it back and focus on the short term.

The year just flies by and one of my biggest goals of the year is to slow down and just live in the moment more. We often just wish our time away because we are looking forward to the next big thing in our lives but I just want to be present, everyday.

Here are a few things I want to achieve in April. 

1. This will probably be a goal every month but I recently joined the gym and I aim to go 2-3 times per week to ease myself in but honestly, I get lazy. This month I just want to be more active and stop skipping days/making excuses.

2. Since I came back to blogging I realised how much I love creating. I really want to create some content that I am proud of going forward. I am friends with such amazing content creators and I'm going to start working with them on look books and content for my blog and Instagram. I can't wait for you to see it.

3. Another health goal but this one is quite important, I don't drink enough water and I need to get back to drinking at least 2 litres per day. As I write this I am definitely dehydrated and need to make more of a conscious effort to drink more water. Hold me accountable!

4. Clearing out my wardrobe has been on my agenda for so long. I should have really done it over the Easter weekend but found myself putting it off. (As you do) I vow to do this in April and will probably sell some of it on Ebay. My style has evolved so much over the last year so it is time to start a fresh.

5. Lastly, I have a finance goal. Stop being so reckless with money. I had a promotion recently and I have literally just been going crazy lately, my bank statement is definitely a food itinerary and I need to chill.

Today is the start of a new month, or it might not be depending on when you are reading this BUT nevertheless, start thinking about what you want to achieve in the short term.
